Mt. Sumbing

I didn't go anywhere on this summer holiday but went trekking on mt. Sumbing. We did spent 4 days on this journey.

Day 1: Went to Lebak Bulus bus station and because of the lack of bus, we went to Purwokerto instead of Wonosobo which is closer to the basecamp. So it took about 12 hours from Jakarta to Purwokerto. it took longer time on our way there because we had stuck several times.

Day 2: Just right after we arrived at Purwokerto, we caught a bus to Semarang which passed Garung village, the basecamp of mt. Sumbing. From Purwokerto to Wonosobo is about 3 hours or so. Then we had a little break and lunch at the basecamp. Some of us repacked their things. Oh, and FYI there's no water on the way to the summit so you got to bring ur own water. I suggest just buy some bottles of mineral water. And then we started our trekking to mt. Sumbing. From basecamp to the 1st Pos took about 2,5 hours. We passed the vast farmland which consists of tobacco and another vegetables. And right after that there's a secondary type forest. No high and close trees, just some medium height trees and bushes. Along the way from the 1st to the 2nd pos is that forest. From the 1st to 2nd pos it took about 1,5 hours. Then you can go camping there because there's no more campsite after the 2nd pos.

Day 3: we went to the summit at 6.48 in the morning. arrived at the pestan (pasar setan or the market of the devils) at 8.55, 10.42 at Pasar Watu and 11.55 at Watu Kotak. We did reached the summit at 14.27 and it was so fantastic. The scenery is a total awe. Then we went back to the camp.

Day 4: went down to the basecamp and I arrived at 10.28 while the others were arriving separately until 11.30 or so. The we caught a bus to the Wonosobo bus station and went back to Jakarta. :)

hari ini pembagian report lho. and to my surprise, I got the 2nd place. And that's the 1st time I'm on the 2nd place. my best is the 3rd so far :) Am hoping for the better place next year, my final, senior year. Wish I can get a great university to continue my study.

me, and my friends were having a fabulous wednesday, celebrating sisil's birthday. And there was joey too, my classmate who are planning to move to philippines. So sisil treat us the lunch and Joey treat us to watch Sex and the City but only half price of the ticket. It was fun and FYI wiena's food smelled so bad just like a corpse. hihi. of course the restaurant (Solaria) made another food for her to change the smelly one ;)

At first, it was kinda boring and have no feel. in the middle the conflict was built quiet intense. and at the end, there they are. the breathtaking and hilarious ending. Who are you? When you say it in front of the mirror towards yourself, has it ever crossed your mind about questioning your real identity? Me myself always do that not only in front a mirror but at all time, especially when I'm alone. I just don't know have I struggled hard enough to explore everything I've got simply because I feel nothing lately. Have you come to that point? To feel that there's no life anymore in your soul. You might look happy and healthy and everything seems to be just fine, but in fact, deep down in the bottom of your heart, you feel dead. So, any advice for me to keep up my life?

Dina Noviandari, one of my fellow at school, has just gone back to heaven as I believe she's a good person. She's died because of cancer on 22.40 in the night of june 1st 2010. I feel totally disappointed to know that I didn't be in the proper place to come to her funeral so I just pray for her from the distance. May peace and her goodness go with her to heaven. We all love you, but He loves you more than anyone on earth. Goodbye Dina, see you in another time :)

Orange Trip

I'm having a vacation to Batu, a town which is famous for its apple and the cold weather. I went there by plane from Jakarta to Malang then by cab to the hotel. The hotel itself has its own apple trip. or that's what people usually called, but in fact they don't just have apples but also oranges, strawberries, etc. When I went there the apple wasn't in the time to be fruitful so the guide told us to have an orange trip instead of apple. It was great since we didn't have to pay again for the trip because the cost for the trip is included in our hotel tariff. Lovely weather there. I missed so much as I begged to stay there. When the wind blows, it feels like the air comes from an enormous air conditioner with fresher air. Too bad I have to go back to this hot, humid, populous, noisy city of Jakarta. for u guys who lived in Indonesia, mama Lauren is one of the most famous fortune-teller and the one who was showed on TV as much as the celebrity themselves. She's predicted many artists' future and every new year, she always be showed on some TV channels to predict the nation's future in the new year. She's become famous not because she makes an extraordinary prediction, but because her prediction is (almost) always true.
Mama Lauren died on Monday (5/17) night because of sick. She'll always be remembered by many people here in Indonesia and I hope, too, in the world.

The movie is quiet entertaining. So so but something that makes it different is that it told us about the-story-before-the-famous-story-of-Robin-Hood we all know. It's smoky and full of battle. Cate Blanchett played nicely as Lady Marion Loxley. I don't write this review long because I don't wanna judge your mindset about this movie. When I say that this is worth to watch, a friend of mine told me that it's boring and contains too much dialogue. At last it depends on what point-of-view did you see.

Pancious

Pancious is a specialized-pancake restaurant, although it also serves kinda steaks and stuffs but mostly (about 80%) of the food are pancake, pancake, and pancake. It provides many kinds of pancakes, from pancake with maple syrup to blueberry, from chocolate to caramel, from pancake with ice cream to beef and veggies.
It was much crowded and some people are on the waiting list. Fortunately not us :). The place itself located in Plaza Indonesia Extension 5th floor, and Pacific Place Mall (dunno where the exact place is since I went to PI's Pancious). Date Night

I feel kinda bored after watching Men Who Stare at Goats so I decided to watch another one. I choose Date Night since I really need a mood-booster and it's usually come out with comedy and laugh. I mean the real laugh not that kinda laugh just like in MWSAG.

Date Night is about a married couple who felt bored with their lives and suddenly a disaster came on a Date Night when they took someone's table. The disaster itself finally made them as a more-solid-than-ever couple.

The movie is so so but comedy is always be my favorite so I like this movie. The dialogue is flowing and the scenes are funny enough. Maybe some people will consider this one as a boring and unworthy movie but for me it really helps finding my way back to happiness

Maybe u're wondering why do I change my blog title or u wanna know what's the meaning of bien sûr, etc. Bien sûr is a french expression, -of course- in english. Of course represents a new mindset of me. Accept everything that came after me and chasing every goals in such positive ways and by using positive thinking. Of course is not an expression to deny something. That's why I changed my blog title. Why did it have to be french? I consider french as the 2nd lingua franca in modern world. Many people from almost all parts of the world use and talk french. And so with Mandarin, of course. But most of the speakers are Chinese and it won't make any difference in this new modern world. C'est quoi j'ai choisi français :)

The Men Who Stare at Goats is about a journalist named Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) who had a love life problem and decided to go to Iraq via Kuwait and met a former 'psychic' military, Lyn Cassady (George Clooney). The troops was called Jedi Warriors and founded by Bill Django (Jeff Bridges). The story goes on until Bob realized his destiny to become a Jedi Warriors. The movie is quiet boring and the laugh itself is kinda hard to understand therefore can't make me burst into a blast laugh. The movie is kinda similar with another motivating-full of quotes and wisdom movies. I don't recommend it but if you want to find some quotes or life motivation, watch it. It's definitely not being made for someone who finds watching movies as a relaxing treatment

And my review is this And my review is this Iron Man sequel has nothing more than the 1st one. Only the technology has increased. The story itself goes beyond the outline and they didn't even try to make something that will make it awesome. Besides the technology, only the exposed casts that increased. For me Iron Man 2 is not better than the 1st but still worth to watch in your spare time

Well I feel that this week is really great. Watching some movies since my last movie, When In Rome, and having some suspended assignments done. My 11th grade is about to end and I need to prepare well for my last class at High School. So a bunch of homeworks, tests, and projects need to be done. Life goes on, man.

Manado manise

I went to Manado last month, because my cousin is married there. Before I go to the marriage, I went to my mom's cousin's house first at Bitung. The house itself has one of the best location in town. guess what? it's the only house on the hilltop in Bitung. Then we continued to the wedding. On our way there we stop by the zoo, still in the town of Bitung. it has some beautiful collections. Love 'em! Back to the wedding, actually he's not married in the city of Manado, to be exact it's on the Tondano lakeside. It has some beautiful view since it's surrounded by mountains and hills. They got their hotspring too! It's too bad that I couldn't try it. I forgot my swimsuit. well, who knows that there'll be a hotspring? These r some of my photos. check it out :)

Cobra Starship, jakarta. live in concert

Dude, guess what? Cobra Starship's coming to Jakarta last night. They rocked us in Tennis Indoor Stadium, Senayan. Check out some cool photos from the concert.

They played about 14 songs (if I'm not wrong) some of them are The City Is At War and Guilty Pleasure from their last album, Viva la Cobra!; The Scene is Dead; Long Live The Scene, Hot Mess, and Nice Guys Finish Last from their latest album, Hot Mess; and of course they played their all-time hits, Good Girls Go Bad.
The concert itself was started about 30 minutes late from the schedule but that's okay since it's been such an amazing concert. Gabe and friends could maintain their communication with the audience. Even they took one audience from the festival class to sing with them. How envious!
Alex talked bahasa pretty well. yeah but everything had to come to an end. They also made their promise to us that they'll come back to Jakarta because when they came to Jakarta this year, it's just the time when all of the 12th high school grader in Indonesia struggles in National Examination. just hope they'll come back not in the time of National Exam next year, 'cause I won't get the chance to watch them ;)

JIFFEST 2009

Hey, long time no see any update on this blog. I've been so busy preparing for my exams along last week. And I'm so happy that 'till I post this, I don't have any bad marks. Actually I went to JIFFEST last tuesday, december 8th 2009, and FYI it's an exam week. I'd have math and PE theory test by tomorrow but since I was invited by Ditha and me myself had been stresful with those materials so I just went there with silvi, nando, and hannah who was invited too by Dita.

We went there by train, my daily transportation, and arrived at Blitzmegaplex Grand Indonesia (the place) about 2.30 PM just like what Dita had said to us to arrive there at that time. But when we search for Ditha, she hadn't come yet and we just looking around the site, taking some photos and finally she came. We got the invitation from her and given a coupon worth a regular softdrink and a salty popcorn. So we withdrew those and entered the cinema.

There were some short movies which were screened into 3 different sections: Global Warming, HIV/AIDS, and Violence Against Woman. Ditha, Ketty, and Mia's short movie (they made it together) is in Violence Against Women. I guess Ditha's the best of all. The camera's not shaking and it's not too long in duration so we didn't get bored. After we watched it, we were asked to vote for our favorite short movie. You can vote too via internet. Vote now!

At first, I'd like to go with my 10th grade classmates. but in some cases, they couldn't accompany me, so I go there with nando. We watched To Kanarini Podilato, a greek movie with english subtitle. It was a bit boring, and the movie was opened by a short movie, Detensi. The movie (To Kanarini Podilato) was about a student who fell pity on himself because he can't study and understand the school materials just like his friends do, and the story goes on. Europe on Screen or what's well-known as Festival Film Eropa has just started again in Jakarta, Indonesia by yesterday, november 6th 2009. This year, the festival will highlight the theme Faces of Europe. And just like the previous years of Europe on Screen (EoS) in Jakarta, it takes 5 places of screenings. Blitzmegaplex Grand Indonesia as the place for the opening of the festival, Goethe Haus, Centre Culturel Francais (CCF) Salemba -it's where I took my french course- , Istituto Italiano di Cultura, and Erasmus Huis. The first place is a megaplex which is usually used for such kind of festival. The last four places are the european countries cultural centers in Jakarta, besides Instituto Cervantes -spanish cultural center- and Pusat Kebudayaan dan Pengetahuan Rusia -russian cultural center-. Course at CCF

Hi guys, It's been a few days (or weeks, I dunno) since my last post. Now I'm gonna show you my new daily activities. I applied for french course at CCF (centre culturel francais) centre at Salemba. Actually I wanna apply at CCF antenne (branch) at Wijaya, Kebayoran Baru. But it's not located in the heart of the town, although it's closer to my place, so I can only use my vechile instead of using public transportation as I always do when I went to Jakarta. My course has been started about 2 weeks ago, Monday and Thursday -2x a week- from 7PM to 9PM. It's always midnight when I got home from CCF, but it's okay for me as long as I still can enjoy myself with it. Maybe everyone of you are still wondering why am I taking a course that far. Here are some reasons:

CCF is the only official french course in Jakarta (maybe in Indonesia, too)
I can have new friends from various kinds of places such as Bekasi, Menteng, etc
I can get into such a french environment, and it can increase my ability in understanding french more than if I just took a nearby french course
CCF centre (Salemba) has complete facilities, as it's purpose to be built, be the center for all of french cultural things. So it's not a course place, but it's a cultural center of french. It has it's own mediatheque, bibliotheque, showroom, cinema room, cafe, and many other facilities. And FYI, CCF antenne (Wijaya) doesn't have cafe and showroom.
When I have to go far for a course, I wouldn't play much. Because when I got home from school I remember that I have to take a rest to fulfill my energy for my course. And I usually take my schoolbooks with me when I go to CCF. I can study on my way there, right?

Me, gian, greena, cici, ayas, atta, sherin, and mutia went to monas. They all went first by vechiles, then I went to monas by train. And of course, because I'm smart ;) I arrived at monas first, while they went there an hour earlier than me. So we captured some photos for our Graphic Design Project: Making a Poster. My group hasn't decided, actually, what poster we'll make. Is it a cultural poster, environmental, or movie poster. I prefer environmental, though. So, at Science Day, we have to make a thing we watched at SunDial Puspa Iptek. But my "beloved" Bahasa Teacher asked us to make a Karya Tulis Ilmiah (KTI) too. Usually, we just need to choose, whether we'll gonna make a thing or a KTI. But this moron teacher forced us to make a KTI even if we had decided to make a thing.

My group -me, maya, olga, indah, anbil, nasya- has decided to make a Kaleidoscope. And we have done it (actually it's Indah's primary school project, so we didn't make anything for real). Science Day

hey ya! it's been a long time since my last post, ain't it? I've been so busy lately. my mom doesn't allow me to use internet too long. so here's the day on October 7th 2009, my school, SMAN 2 Tangerang Selatan held an event called 'Science Day'. Yes, it's a full-day trip for 11th grader students in my school. We went to Padalarang and Bandung. Since both places are close, we can have a day trip. We gather at school at 5.30, but because of our late mental has run through our veins, we couldn't resist that everything will be late ;)

Finally, we moved at around 6 in the morning to Padalarang. We Arrived at Padalarang at 9 and go directly to SunDial Puspa Iptek. We have to find something interesting there and make it ourselves, or make a journal about it. My group has decided b4 to make the 'thing'. After having fun there, we go to Bale Seni Barli or Barli Art Center. We painted on some materials, I painted on glass. After painting, we could see artists painting on canvas. I mean, the real painting. So we finished our business on painting and continue to music. We learned to play angklung, and it's so fun! After we went to Padalarang, we continued our journey to Bandung. First, we went to Geological Museum. We saw a bbc movie about the earth's timeline and saw many beautiful objects which exhibited there. Photos again :)

So we went to Cihampelas to have our dinner and we could buy something as our gift back home. Me and most of people the pupils decided to change our clothes before going around Cihampelas. After we took a walk around Cihampelas road, we had our dinner at Arum Manis restaurant. These are just a few photos at Cihampelas.

Phobia 2 and us

jadi gue dan kalyzh serta nando has planned to watch something at blitzmegaplex teraskota. At first we just couldn't choose the movie we wanna watch. From Trailer Park of Terror and Carriers to Phobia2, FYI Trailer Park of Terror and Phobia 2 are horror movies. Carriers is a thriller movie. Finally we chose Phobia 2. From what I've known b4, Phobia and Phobia 2 are horror movies that really do scares us. I hate that kind of movie. But it's the final deal. We made it and watch it.

Nah sebelum review movie, gua cerita ya kronologisnya.

gw berangkat ke Teraskota dan macet dijalan, panasnya luarbinasa rasanya kulitku meleleh. Nando masih menunggu mami yang belum pulang dari pertjentilannya. Kalyzh sudah otw saat gua meleleh tetapi gua dan kalyzh akhirnya tiba dengan selang waktu (t) = 60sekon.
Sambil menunggu Nando yang masih menunggu mami kembali dari peraduannya, gua dan Kalyzh mencuba untuk beli tiket dulu, jadi kita naik ke atas (tidak efektif ya kalimatnya) dan mendapati bahwasanya Imperial Chef sudah berbenah dan nampaknya akan buka dalam waktu 1-2 bulan lagi. Setelah melewati mas mas tukang bangunan di Imperial Chef kami menatap nanar blitzmegaplex yang masih tutup. Dengan malu kami pun berjalan kembali turun dengan lift ke lantai 2.
Setelah turun ke lantai 2, gua dan Kalyzh langsung melangkahkan kaki dengan riang gembira menuju Gramedia dan gua menitipkan tas. Setelah beberapa menit dan detik, Nando akhirnya muncul dan melihat gua sedang berpose dari balik kaca yang sudah diusapkan Cling sehingga bersih bening seperti tanpa kaca.
Setelah Nando bergabung dengan gua dan Kalyzh, kita mulai mengautis seperti biasa kalau 2 atau 3 orang autis berkumpul dan mulai mengobrol maka dipastikan orang sekitarnya akan menjadi malu dan meninggalkan kami yang semakin berisik dalam keautisan kami.
Setelah beberapa tawaan dan bahakan yang membahana di segenap penjuru Gramedia, emba emba Gramedia mulai merasakan ancaman yang datang dari kami bertiga dan berusaha mengusir kami. Karena malu, kami meninggalkan Gramedia dengan anggunnya namun betapa jahatnya Kalyzh dan Nando. Mereka meninggalkan saya sendirian di Gramedia untuk mengambil tas saya yang berisi buku-buku untuk les karena gua gamau rugi jadi langsung les dari Teraskota untuk menghemat biaya ongkos.
Setelah gua mengambil tas dan menggabungkan diri bersama orang autis lainnya, kami menuruni eskalator dan dengan begitu bingungnya gua dan kalyzh ingin mencuba Coffee World.
Saat kami memasuki Coffee World, emba embanya bilang bahwasanya mereka belum buka. Malu banget ga sih? Padahal kacanya sudah dilengkapi sticker Coffee World & Cream Fudge dan nampaknya sudah siap melayani pembeli rakus yang ingin mencuba seperti layaknya gua dan Kalyzh.
Karena Coffee World belum buka, kami mengayunkan langkah menuju d'Flavy. Disana Nando menjadi lemot karena ga ngerti dengan apa yang dicakapkan pegawai d'Flavy tentang promonya. Karena gua dan Kalyzh ga mau rugi, kita ambil sendok dan mulai menggerogoti kefirnya Nando. Setelah puas mencuba kefirnya Nando, kita mulai bernarsis ria.
Puas narsis di d'Flavy, kami berjalan dengan perlahan namun pasti menuju Bengawan Solo Coffee. Dalam perjalanan, kami menyempatkan diri untuk berfoto ria lagi di amphitheatre yang menurut Prof. DR. dr. Ir. Kalyzh S.Pd, M.Pd akan dibuat kolam ikan koi yang dapat dipakai berenang para balita yang lucu, imut, dan menggemaskan. Juga dalam perjalanan, gua bertanya pada Nando mengenai Kanji yang tertulis pada papan toko Aunty Li Kopitiam. Ternyata artinya adalah Toko Kopi (Kedai Kopi) Li (Lee).
Sesampainya di Bengawan Solo Coffee, gua dan Kalyzh memesan kopi. Gua memesan Hot Flavored Milk rasa Hazelnut sementara Kalyzh memesan Iced Caffe Latte. Karena waktu yang sangat mendesak akhirnya kami membayar namun meninggalkan pesanan kami yang sedang dibuat oleh mas mas Bengawan Solo Coffee yang menurut Kalyzh cukup menawan hati.
Kami keluar dari Bengawan Solo Coffee dengan langkah kaki yang lebar namun tetap menjaga keanggunan seperti layaknya selebritis-selebritis kelas dunia. Kami bertiga langsung menuju blitzmegaplex dan naik melalui eskalator yang masih nonaktif dengan penuh nafsu yang menggebu-gebu.
Setelah memesan tiket menggunakan blitzcard, gua tak lupa melakukan topping-up saldo Blitzcard sebesar Rp.100.000,00 dan tanpa gua sadari, melakukan topping-up tersebut telah menguras saldo uang kartal gua menjadi hampir tidak cukup apabila tidak teringat akan hutang Kalyzh padaku saat daku membayarkannya Iced Caffe Latte.
Kemudian kami menuju ke eskalator yang masih nonaktif dan segera menggerakkan tubuh ke Bengawan Solo Coffee untuk mengambil pesanan. Sesampainya di Bengawan Solo, kami menyempatkan diri untuk mengambil gambar sejenak.
Karena waktu yang memepet dan memaksa kami memipihkan tenggat, kami pun bergegas kembali menuju ke Blitzmegaplex karena show akan segera dimulai. Kemudian karena tidak diperbolehkan membawa makanan dan minuman dari luar, saya dan Kalyzh menitipkan kopi kami di dalam tasnya nando. Sorry for the inconvenience, Nando.
Nah kami pun memasuki Auditorium 1 dan menikmati Phobia 2. It's so wonderful, scary, and totally Autis in the end.

Regal Coffee - Mango Chinese Cuisine

Yesterday, september 10th, me and my mom went to Citos. I wanna go outside to study 'cos I can't study well in my house, usually I tend to wondering something unimportant or just surfing internet and forgot to study at last.

So I went to Citos at 7PM or so and arrived there around 8PM. The parking lot was full and it's hard just to find one. When me & my mom arrived there, the person my mom would meet hasn't arrived yet so we going around and reading some books at aksara bookstore, they have many A-list books.

After about an hour standing, we felt tired and decided to have a sit in a nearby coffee shop ('cos there r many coffee shops). At first my mom asked me to go into starbucks but I'm bored always having a cup of starbucks coffee, so we were finding another. We couldn't decide whether The Coffee Bean or Regal Coffee is the best. We got into The Coffee Bean first but my mom saw the patisseries there, she said it's too big and she wouldn't eat it. Then we tried Regal Coffee. We entered and ordered Frappe Caramel, Chocolate Truffles, and Caramello. In a short time, our order came and we tried it. Not bad but not the best I guess.

But just when I drank half of my frappe, the person who my mom would meet called and said that he has been in a nearby place of Citos. So we ate and drank our order 'till empty in about 5 minutes. hihi

So we met the person and we went to Mango Chinese Cuisine. I ordered Mapo Tahu ala Szechuan and FYI I ordered small amount of Mapo Tahu but their 'small' is medium-sized to me. I ate and studied History while eating 'cos the next day is the last day of school before holiday and I wanna make it better than my usual day, so I studied. I ate slowly and finished in about 2hours. The food is quite delicious and I love the Tahu. Of course money talks. Food in Mango Chinese Cuisine isn't as delicious as Crystal Jade's

Bandslam

I watched Bandslam at Blitzmegaplex Teraskota, and it's so disappointing. I paid the ticket via BlitzCard and went into the Auditorium.

At first, it looked like everything is okay. But suddenly in the middle of the movie screening, the sound system (Dolby Digital) went worse. I couldn't hear clearly what was the movie talked about.

Actually Bandslam itself is a nice movie. I like the way they talk and act, also will burton's band in Bandslam, I can't go on, I'll go on, plays nicely. They have full band, with its various kind of instruments. And I appreciate their show too, in Bandslam. They arrange a pop song into ska music less than 10 minutes. cool if it's real, huh?

That's for the film and now about the Blitzmegaplex. Before the movie started, they said that the cinema delivers Dolby Digital sound system, which must be a high quality sound system. But in fact, they often got worse in the middle on the movie, especially for the movie which is 'Exclusively on Blitzmegaplex'. Maybe it only happens at Teraskota, 'cos in another sites of Blitzmegaplex, it didn't happen and everything works well (include the sound).

Erasmus Huis 082909

Hell Yeah.
Since a week past I've ask my JHS friends to accompany me to watch Zoop in Zuid-Amerika (Zoo Rangers in South America) in Erasmus Huis but only 1 gave positive response.

Ok then it's ok if there's just the two of us, the most important thing is I'm not alone. So we caught a train to Sudirman and used Busway to Erasmus Huis. After we arrived at Sudirman train station, continued with Busway and we got into the Kuningan Timur shelter, then we walk to Erasmus Huis 'cos it's nearby the shelter.
Finally voila! we arrived at Erasmus Huis. When we take a look at the time, it's 12o'clock and we just had lunch in the cafe at Erasmus Huis. I ordered Hutspot Met Klapstruk and Pannekoek met Maple Stroop, both recipe was originally brought from Holland.

My friend, Nando ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu and when he tasted a little piece of my Pannekoek, he said 'I want it too' and so he ordered Pannekoek but different from mine. He ordered Pannekoek with Cheese and Chocolate, doesn't sounds like originally Holland right? Yes, when he got his Pannekoek, he disappoint with it 'cos it tastes not as delicious as mine. hihi, poor u

When we finished our lunch, we take a look at an Exhibition which is to celebrate 200years of Charles Darwin and also 150years of his book publication. It was cool! There are many pictures of animals like Butterflies, Crocodiles, Birds, etc. And they held it professionally, everything was so total.

After we saw the exhibition, we move upstairs and saw the movie, FYI it's free. yay! The movie was cool. I like it. It's dutch movie with english subtitle.

When the movie ended, we explored the Erasmus Huis and it's such an amazing place to take photos. Different with another cultural centers in Jakarta, Erasmus Huis is more spacious and more modern (also more stylish)

it's already 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I'm planning to watch cin(T)a, an Indonesian indie film.
FYI, I was woken up by my maid 'cos there was an 7.3SR earthquake. Fortunately my house is far away from the epicentrum.

I saw the clock and I prepared to go to Blitzmegaplex Teraskota, it's the closest to my place.
When I arrived at Teraskota, the megaplex was closed temporarily because of the earthquake and opened straightly. I purchased the ticket via BlitzCard and get into the Auditorium.

cin(T)a tells us about a love story between Cina and Annisa. They've different religion, Christian and Moslem. The movie have different angle but they can make it very artistic. Also there are a few short clips (about 10secs) in middle of the movie and again, they make it lovable for us, who watched it.

Cina and Annisa finally have different way of life. They can't continue their relationship because the difference of faith they have.

This movie takes different theme which is actually live in the society in Indonesia but only a few moviemakers have a bravery to take the theme about the different faith in a relation with love story. I love this movie. Guys, if you have plenty of time, just watch this movie in a closest Blitzmegaplex to you if u're in Indonesia

Zoop in Zuid-Amerika

This movie is about a Zoo Rangers, who wants to get a very rare butterfly cocoon back to its origin in Amazon. It's full of life and a bit funny. I love this movie, it's a dutch film and has english subtitle.

I watched it at Erasmus Huis, if u guys have Erasmus Huis nearby, u can ask them whether this movie has been screened or not.

Menteng area, Goethe Institut Indonesien, and Gondangdia Station

NEXT THEN:

So we left Kafe Pisa, but our desire to take photos weren't fulfilled, so we done it in the outside area of Kafe Pisa (alfresco corner). It's quite beautiful there.

Then we decided to take a look at Goethe Institut Indonesien, at Sam Ratulangi st. and we walked (of course we walked) there. After the long, tired, painful, and bloody walk, finally we got it. Goethe Institut Indonesien. But poor us it didn't held anything at that time so we take a rest (sit, actually) there to erase our tiredness.

Then I saw Gondangdia Train Station, and some of my friends were having their lunch there. After everybody got full, we continue our journey to H O M E.

So we walked (daritadi jalan melulu) to Tugu Tani to catch a bus to Tanah Abang Station where our train stopped. And yes, we took some photos on our walk to Tugu Tani.

When we arrived at Tanah Abang, we paid our tickets and get into the train. Austin got her station first then the rest of us arrived at Serpong station. What a tired, inspirational journey. Hate it but Love it and also Love u guys

Kafe Pisa, F&B, and Be Kind Rewind

ok then, after about 3 months or so I've decided to open this blog and try to start blogging. hihi

Location: Kafe Pisa - Goethe Institut - Gondangdia Station , Menteng
Date: June, 6th 2009

howdy, actually I'm a bit late posting about this journey. Last night (june, 5th) I asked 7 friends to accompany me to watch 'Be Kind Rewind' at Kafe Pisa, Menteng. Some of them gave me positive signs, there were Kika, Titin, Latul, Faiz, and Adelia. Then I asked them to ask other friends to make it crowded.

Then tomorrow (june, 6th), I messaged them to make sure they would accompany me to Kafe Pisa. Kika replied me and said that she couldn't accompany me 'cos she got diare ;). So I go to school because we have agreed to meet there, but faiz and Adelia just go to the train station. Then I got 7 people there, Latul, Melisa, Titin, Sandy, Lidya, Mona, Dira. wew, it must be soo crowded then. When everybody's arrived, we went to the train station where faiz and adelia have waited long enough for us :). After paid the tickets, we got into the train and start our journey.

We used Ciujung train and got smelly sits but just sat there because there was no more sit available and chit chat along the way to Sudirman Train Station. After we arrived at sudirman station, we continued with Busway to Sarinah. After we arrived at sarinah, I asked them to eat first because there would be expensive eating at Kafe Pisa but they disagreed with me so we just walk to Kafe Pisa.

we walked happily from sarinah busway shelter to Kafe Pisa menteng and suddenly when we arrived there we entered the wrong door so we try another one. We entered with curiosity and gotcha, we was served well and I knew that it'd be charged but I didn't tell them just to make them realize it themselves.

When we saw the price for those F&Bs we were shocked. That I asked them to accompany me to watch Be Kind Rewind and said to my friends not to bring much money. Sorry guys!

So the range is from (in thousands rupiah) 30 to 50. As the one who brought my friends to the Kafe, I decided to order more than them. FYI me and my friends but Melisa ordered the same beverage, gelato called Cobbana. I thought they're so dumb 'cos with our number we could order almost all of the beverages there and just shared each other so we can try many kinds of their beverages.

But I knew too, that in the time of worrying money left, we can't think and act properly. I ordered Spaghetti Panchetta and Lychee tea besides Cobbana.

So we wait in worried about our money, and of course we went there to have fun so we just started to take photos, mainly from Faiz's camera, 'cos mine was running out of battery, stupid me not to charge it the night before.

When all of our order came, we try it and my Spaghetti tastes good, as with Cobbana. Oh, I forgot to tell you that Be Kind Rewind was started to be screened and some of us watch it and later Melisa and Faiz (they're the one who saw it precisely) told us that we should have stayed there 'till the film ended

So then after counting and sharing the receipt worth about 900(thousands) or so, we left Kafe Pisa and continued our journey

I've never studied any of these subjects and It's all totally freaking me out! It might kill me but I thought I still can handle it for a while, maybe I'd very very like to cheat or maybe copying one of my friends' works but I thought that I can't do it because my friends nearby my sit are just a bunch of dumb people. Oh God, how poor I am.

The X Files 2: I Want to Believe

Filmnya udah enggak tentang alien-alien lagi, tapi masih tetep nyeritain tentang pembunuhan menjijikkan.

Jadi filmnya nyeritain tentang 2 orang tokoh utamanya, tapi udah gak di FBI lagi, yang ceweknya jadi dokter, yang cowoknya gag jelas kerjaannya apa.

the point is, there's a FBI agent, Monica Bannan, who is captured by the Organ Trafficker. She's still alive in a little box. FBI needs some help from Fox Mulder, and he needs Dana Scully to help him. pokoknya gitu deh! jadi mereka berusaha nyari si Monica Bannan dari jejak si Organ Trafficker. Soalnya si penculik itu bukan cuma nyulik Monica Bannan, tapi juga banyak korban lain.

Dari pencarian itu, terlibat seorang cenayang (paranormal-red), Father Joseph (joe) yang "mantan" pastor, seorang pedofil juga. Jalan ceritanya sama aja kayak film-film lain, tapi tetep menegangkan kok.

Akhirnya Monica Bannannya ditemuin pas kepalanya udah mau di potong, padahal masih keadaan sadar loh! Trus bisa diselamatin, tapi malah si Father Joenya yang meninggal gara-gara kanker paru (gak nyambung yah!). Yah jadi mau nonton atau enggak terserah, tapi kalo menurut gw lumayan juga.
